Scott Allen is one of the true pioneers of social media -- he started teaching people to use it for business way back in 2002 (they called it "online business networking" then), and wrote the first book on the business use of social media (The Virtual Handshake, 2005). By improving the existing code architecture and training my team, I was able to reduce the team size from a peak of 10 down to 4 when I changed roles (don't worry -- they all went to work on something else within the company!).
